Church of Christian Spiritualism & Lifestyle recommends (in the year of writing this <2024>) That

The NRSV ue or " New Revised Standard Version updated edition ". Written in 2021. Is the most accurate bible. We don't necessarily claim it as our "official bible version", but strongly urge it. We believe the Bible is the authoritative word of GOD.  However, we do believe that though GOD is infallible, man (short for mankind), isn't. Therefore the second man began handling, storing, interpreting, and so on, the Bible. It became open to potentially having outdated wording, misinterpreted values, and certain potential contradictions. So we believe that the Bible when it was first ever told to man, was infallible, but that the current transcripts we have, are fallible, or at least potentially fallible, given man's fallibility,  so we are apologists when it comes to things like Jesus having really walked the earth, GOD being the creator, we believe in a LITERAL resurrection, and that the flood or some flood like event in some capacity had to have happened. That Adam and Eve ate the fruit and caused 'the fall'.But we are open to reconciling other texts within cultural and historical and linguistic context for certain passages. No this is not to make way for us to allow for sin, and make excuses. But a way to truly value, honest interpretations of the words of our lord. We believe the verses on same sex were taken out of context for instance. Especially when applied to modern day. And we already know the verses about women in Ministry, and we show how we can use a biblical basis for justifying women in leadership on our "Process of Ordination page" . We believe that using critical scholarship of the Bible can be applied to modern day contexts and both be reconciled. Essentially a hybrid approach. On essentials, like who is GOD, what Jesus did, the origin of sin, and the creation of us. We are apologists. But the rest can be critically analyzed and re approached. In an age old Christian adage, "In All things essential, Unity. In all things Non-essential, Liberty, and in all things, Charity. " We believe if you truly believe, then when you profess your faith in Jesus Christ, you are saved, to be consecrated by baptism, we believe in a conditional once saved always saved model, we are saved via grace through faith and true baptism, we believe they both should go hand in hand but do not think it is us who decide who is "Properly saved", that job is the lord's. And once saved, especially if both true profession and proper baptism, have taken place, you are saved, forever, unless you deliberately leave the faith. However you can always come back, if again your re profession of faith is true, you do not need to be re baptized, only a new profession of return. so long as you remain in faithful belief you are saved. GOD bless and walk in love. We do not believe in predestination. All true believers are a part of the kingdom of heaven.

"21 And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him." (Peter 3: 21-22 NRSV ue)

"9 because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 NRSV ue)
